Can you work out and name the notes on the E and A strings?
Intermediate Acoustic is going to feature a lot of useful and practical music theory.
Knowing the notes on these 2 strings (reasonably quickly, it doesn’t have to be instant) is like learning the place names on a roadmap. Once you know the names it’s a lot easier to navigate your way around.
If you can figure out the notes slowly then that’s ok. You also need to know the musical alphabet off by heart.
To learn these notes quickly I used a flashcard system app on my phone for 10 minutes a day. It took me around 6 weeks.
